Learn a range of mind and body relaxation techniques, as well as a variety of lifeskills, including practical advice, cognitive re-framing strategies and emotional well-being support.
Understand how to recognise the stress in your life and learn how to manage it more effectively.
The courses are open to the general public and are run by Kate, a registered Stress Management & Lifeskills Consultant, who has over 15 years of experience of running therapeutic groups and individual sessions in the NHS. Kate provides a safe and supportive environment, as well as a relaxed, light-hearted and positive approach.
Stress Awareness Workshops
For those who may be more restricted on time and wish to learn a range of health, well-being and coping skills in one economical session, including practical stress-relieving techniques.
Also suitable for specific groups of people or staff for training days or team building events.

4 week 'SIMPLE STEPS' to Well-being Course
Improve your physical and emotional health by attending to your basic needs and giving yourself a better chance to enhance your overall well-being. This course looks at understanding how stress affects our body and minds, including how to attain better sleep, how diet and physical activity affects mood, and what we need in our lives to be happier and improve self esteem. Each session will include theory as well as a practical element and opportunity for group discussion and support.

6 week Stress Management Course
Full programme that identifies how to recognise stress in your life, how to balance your life more effectively and looks at a range of practical life-skills and techniques, including emotional regulation, re-framing thoughts strategies, mindfulness, relaxation techniques, and physical stress-relieving exercises. Includes opportunities for homework and reflective practice.
Ideal for those who want to attend a regular session in order to learn and practise skills gradually, as well as building up valuable peer support.
