Holistic Health was founded by Kate King, a registered Stress Management & Lifeskills Consultant, in early 2017. 

Kate has been a qualified Holistic Health Practitioner for over 15 years, and is registered with the Federation of Holistic Therapists and the NO HANDS® Massage Association. She spent this time working as an NHS Therapist in physical and mental health services in Cornwall. Part of her role over the years has been to provide staff support and training in stress management application. Currently, Kate is leading a specialist health and wellbeing service for a major national charity organisation.

In 2009 Kate trained as a Dialectical Behavioral Therapist and over the years has combined her various knowledge, skills and experience to provide holistic health care to her clients in the form of holistic therapies and stress management, including lifestyle and well-being choices. In 2018, Kate created                                                                         which integrates all of her clinical experience and training.

Throughout the years, Kate has gained extensive experience of working with people with a range of physical and mental health conditions such as anxiety, depression and post traumatic stress disorder. Working with people who have difficulty in regulating emotions, including those who use self harm as coping mechanisms and experience suicidal thoughts, is something that Kate is particularly passionate about. She has progressed in this field through being genuinely interested in other people's wellbeing, providing a caring, empathetic and non-judgemental approach and being capable of supporting anyone through times of stress or imbalance in their lives.

Kate now wants to be able to offer her experience and skills to the general public.

“As a working mum of 2 young boys, I understand the  difficulty at times of trying to juggle work, family, and the challenges that life throws at us.

It is easy to sometimes feel like we are losing the plot!

Which is why it is so important to take some time to stop and look at how you can regain your life balance. 

Looking after yourself is something that sometimes needs practice - we are normally much better at taking care of others.

Everybody is unique with individual physical and emotional needs, therefore no two sessions that I provide will ever be the same - they are tailor-made to fit the people I am working with.
